ISO 9001: Will you be ready for the transition by the Sept 2018 deadline?
Your organisation officially has one year to transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The clock is ticking for organisations certified against ISO 9001:2008 to transition to the 2015 version of each of each of these standards. Will you be ready?
At Crest Advisory Africa, we value our close relationships we have with the corporate sector, which is the reason why we are reminding all organisations to update their certification. This goes hand in hand with preparation and transition training, to adapt to the new standards.
The three-year (3) grace period that organisations were given to make the change is slowly reaching its end with the deadline for both revisions are scheduled for 14th September 2018. A reminder that organisations that do not make the change in the allotted time; risk losing the certification. This will not only result in a regulatory risk but also reputation and that will materialise in a financial risk and losses.
Whilst a year or 365 days, may seem like a sufficient amount of time, many certification bodies are already fully booked until September next year, which indicates the need to act fast.
Crest Advisory Africa (Pty) Ltd, is an accreditation body under the licence of the Professional Evaluation and Certification Body (PECB), and would, therefore, like to outline how organisations can utilise our services in preparation of your timely transitioning to the new standards.
